Real-time Terahertz-wave imaging based on nonlinear optical up-conversion

Abstract

We demonstrate a terahertz-wave imaging at video-rate by nonlinear frequency up-conversion in an organic nonlinear crystal. The sensitive imaging supported by efficient conversion from terahertz-wave to near-infrared light is presented.
