Record laser wavelength tunability of Pr:LiYF4 around 900nm

Abstract

CW laser wavelength tunability of 70 nm is demonstrated in the 900nm spectral range by pumping a Pr:LiYF4 single crystal with an OPSL laser and by using a V-shape resonator and a quartz birefringent plate.
