Discretely tunable Tm-doped fiber laser using FBG arrays as spectral filters

Abstract

We present two configurations of a discretely tunable Thulium-doped fiber laser using FBG arrays as versatile spectral filters for tailored tuning ranges. With pulses in the nanosecond regime, a tuning range of 84nm has been realized.
