Abstract

The analysis of new promising wide-bandgap nonlinear crystals for the mid-Infrared based on ternary and quaternary (with Ge) chalcogenides is given. Crystal characteristics which determine the efficiency of nonlinear convertors and the ways to improve them are discussed.
