Mode-Locked Thulium-Doped ZBLAN Fiber Laser Oscillators at 2 μm

Abstract

We have studied mode-locked operation of thulium-doped ZBLAN fiber laser oscillators around 2 μm wavelength region. Behavior of the output pulses from several different configurations are characterized.
