Femtosecond laser frequency comb for precision calibration of HARPS-N

Abstract

We have installed and operated a broadband green astro-comb at the TNG that is capable of sub 10 cm/s calibration aiming to improve calibration of HARPS-N to the necessary precision for Earth-like exoplanet detection.
