33 fs, 1 μJ Fiber Femtosecond Laser Amplifier

Abstract

We demonstrate a high energy fiber amplifier delivering 1-μJ energy pulses with 32.6-fs duration. A designed pre-shaper optimized the initial pulses to make the pulses evolve to similariton in the main amplifier.
