High-power Single-Frequency Fiber MOPA Based on FRA and PBGF Amplifier at 1178 nm

Abstract

87 W CW single-frequency lineally-polarized signal amplification was obtained in a photonic bandgap fiber amplifier with suppressing SBS by linewidth broadening. The broadening was obtained via a phase modulator driven by a white Gaussian noise.
