Abstract

we investigate the limits in terms of tunability and performance (efficiency and energy) of Vertical External-Cavity Surface-Emitting Organic Lasers (VECSOLs). The thermal nature of photodegradation is evidenced and solutions towards high-energy organic lasers are envisioned.
