Characterization of 8 mol% Mg-doped congruent LiTaO3 for high-energy quasi-phase matching device

Abstract

We characterized a 8-mol% Mg-doped congruent LiTaO3, which is expected as future material for large-aperture quasi-phase matching device. Optical, thermal, and coercive-field properties were investigated and compared with conventional Mg-doped congruent LiNbO3.
