Thin-disk multipass amplifier for ultrashort pulses with an output power of 264 W

Abstract

We present an Yb:YAG thin-disk multipass amplifier with the highest average power of 264 W reported for such a system so far. The seed pulse duration is 7 ps and the repetition rate 800 kHz.
