Abstract

We report on a pure hard-aperture Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:YAG thin-disk oscillator delivering 120-W, 4-μJ, 350-fs in air. This is, to our knowledge, the highest average power and pulse energy achieved from KLM oscillators so far.
