High efficiency optical parametric oscillator in the visible red spectral region with periodically poled KTiOPO4

Abstract

Optical pulses with 2.2 mJ energy were generated with 61% efficiency in the periodically poled KTiOPO4 parametric oscillator. Tuning range was substantially extended by noncollinear elliptical pumping geometry. Influence of gray-tracking have been investigated. Simulateneous SFM process for blue light generation was investigated.
