Diode-pumped high repetition rate fs regenerative amplifier with Cr3+ doped crystals and up to 3µJ pulse energy from an elliptical cavity mode

Abstract

The optimization of an ultrafast, diode-pumped Cr:LiSAF regenerative amplifier system is presented. Results of theoretical calculations of the pulse build-up time for Cr:LiSAF and Cr:LiSGAF as active media are compared to experimental data.
