Abstract
We describe a high-power erbium-ytterbium co-doped fiber laser, cladding-pumped by a beam-shaped 915 nm diode bar. The laser was tunable from 1533 to 1600 nm with 6.7 W of output power at 1550 nm in a single-polarization, narrow linewidth, temporally stable beam.
