Super-stretched mode-locked Yb3+-fiber laser with 33 nm bandwidth and 56 nj pulse energy

Abstract

Self-starting passive mode-locking of a unidirectional ring laser based on 26 m cladding-pumped Yb3+-fiber with a internal grating dispersion compensation, 56 nJ pulse energy at 7,6 MHz repetition rate and 33 nm bandwidth were achieved.
