Passive Mode Locking of Thin Disk Lasers: Effects of Spatial Hole Burning

Not Accessible

Abstract

Spatial hole burning can severely limit the range of possible pulse durations in passively mode-locked thin disk lasers. We present the results of a model which shows that there are three regimes with qualitatively different behavior.
