Single-frequency, diode-pumped Yb:YAG and Yb:YLF lasers

Abstract

We report single-frequency operation of highly stable, diode-pumped, room-temperature Yb:YAG and Yb:YLF master oscillators. The lasers operate in the 1017 to 1052 nm wavelength range.
