Abstract

We present the nonlinear optical characterization of YCOB for second harmonic generation by using femtosecond broadband pulses. First values of some non linear coefficients are given and compared to GdCOB. Refractive indexes and relative orientation between crystallographic and crystallophysic axes, different from those already published, are given. Angular acceptances of YCOB and GdCOB are also given.
