CW and Q-switched Ho:YAG pumped by Tm:YALO

Abstract

Using a >8.8W Tm:YALO laser we pump Ho:YAG and achieve >1.8W with >47% input, >67% absorbed slope efficiencies, Q-switched operation from 2-to-20kHz is also demonstrated.
