Efficient, End-Pumped, 1053-nm Nd:YLF Laser

Abstract

A fiber-coupled, 100-W QCW diode laser arrays were used to efficiently end-pump a Nd:YLF laser operated at 1053 nm. A single-pass, small-signal gain of 4.2 was demonstrated. Output TEM00 energies of 20 mJ in the free-running mode and 13.6 mJ in the Q-switching mode at 1053 nm were measured.
