Abstract

We have demonstrated high power performance of a diode-side-pumped intracavity-frequency-doubled CW Nd:YAG laser. Stable CW green power of 27.0 W with the beam quality of M2=7.9 and TEM00-mode green power of 16.3 W were generated by compensating thermal lensing of the KTP crystal and Nd:YAG rods with advanced resonator design. It was found that the large green power fluctuation was related to the unstable operation of the resonator.
