Abstract

Phase conjugation of the output of a Cr, Tm, Ho:YAG laser system operating at 2.1 µm has been demonstrated via degenerate four-wave mixing in GaSb with reflectivities >14%. Z-scan measurements were used to identify the refractive nonlinearify as two-photon absorption generated free carriers.
