Abstract

An all-solid-state optical subharmonic oscillator is proposed for frequency division of 532 nm Nd:YAG lasers. Injection locking LDs are used as optical amplifier in the proposed subharmonic oscillator. Preliminary experimental results of difference frequency generation, which is the key process in the subharmonic oscillator, are reported.
