Abstract

We have demonstrated 8.25 W of average power from a 1.57 μm KTP OPO at a 30 Hz pulse repetition frequency (PRF), using a diode-pumped Nd:YAG phase-conjugate ΜΟΡΑ pump laser with a single axial and transverse mode, and a shaped fast-rising temporal pulse. An OPO slope efficiency at the Manley-Rowe limit was obtained.
