Abstract

The phase matching angle, angular bandwidth, spectral bandwidth and temperature bandwidth were measured for Ti:Al2O3 laser frequency doubling in LiB305(LB0). Results were compared to the calculated values from existing Sellmeier equations. Temperature-tuned data and doubling efficiency were also measured. LBO phase-matching properties were compared to BBO as a doubling crystal for Ti:Al2O3 lasers.
