Abstract

Up to 350 mJ of narrow-band, tunable, blue light has been generated at 10 Hz through sum frequency mixing the outputs of an injection-seeded Ti: Al2O3 laser with an injection-seeded Nd:YAG laser. A 1.06-μm to blue conversion efficiency of 20% has been demonstrated at the 200 mJ level.
