Abstract

We have first demonstrated a laser diode pumped NdCa3(Nb,Ga)2−x, Ga3-garnet (CNGG) disordered crystalline laser. It has been shown that Nd:CNGG has preferable properties as a high average power solid state laser using plural laser diodes pumping or laser diode arrays pumping.
