Generation of Sub-100-fs Pulses Directly from a Passively Mode-Locked Titanium:Sapphire Laser

Abstract

We have passively mode-locked a linear Titanium Sapphire laser with HITCI as the saturable absorber and obtained directly 75 fs pulses near 807 nm, assuming a gaussian pulse shape.
