Brillouin optical correlation domain analysis system for simultaneous interrogation of 150 sensing positions

Abstract

Brillouin optical correlation domain system simultaneously interrogating 150 sensing position with time-domain data processing is proposed. Distributed strain sensing in 1,500 m-long fiber with 5 cm resolution is experimentally demonstrated.
