1550 nm band Raman distributed temperature sensor using 35 km-long single-mode fiber

Abstract

We report a 1550 nm band Raman distributed temperature fiber-optic sensor based on 35 km-long single-mode fiber. We achieved the temperature resolution of 2.6 °C with a measurement time of 600 s using a finite impulse response filter.
