LP01-LP21 intermodal interferometer based on long period grating in few mode fiber for dual parameter sensing

Abstract

A FMF-LPG converting LP01 to LP21 core mode is proposed for the first time. The proposed interferometer is composed of the matching LPG and a slight core-offset spliced end. It can be used as dual parameter sensors.
