Fiber Optic Pressure and Temperature Sensor with Bourdon Tube for Downhole Application

Abstract

A pressure and temperature sensor for downhole application is reported. Experiments show the sensor has sensitivity of 0.99μm/MPa and accuracy of 0.1%F.S. for pressure measurement. The sensor is successfully used for downhole 24-hours monitoring.
