Investigation of relative humidity sensor using periodically micro-tapered long-period fiber gratings without sensing uncertainty

Abstract

We propose a humidity sensor using a periodically micro-tapered long-period fiber grating incorporating low index polymer and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). We effectively suppress sensing uncertainty for measurement of the relative humidity.
