Influence of the nonunidirectional energy exchange on the polarization properties of the two-beam interaction in sillenite crystals under square-wave external electric field

Abstract

We demonstrate experimentally and theoretically that contribution of the self-diffraction gyration effect in the two-wave coupling in Bi12SiO20 crystal under square- wave external electric field strongly influence on the polarization dependency of the gain coefficient.
