Abstract
The optimal conditions for electric field multiplexing (EFM) have been analyzed. A theory considering various crystal orientations is presented. The optimal geometry of the EFM experiment with the LiNbO3 and Sr0.75Ba0.25Nb2O6 crystals has been found. Seventeen holograms were electrically multiplexed in the Fe-doped LiNbO3, which demonstrates the efficiency of EFM.
