Overcoming Large Piston Capture Range Problems in Segmented Systems Using Broadband Light

Abstract

Traditional phase retrieval methods fail to retrieve piston errors greater than one wave in segmented systems. We present a new algorithm that uses broadband light to fit large piston error with a high convergence rate.
