Phase estimation in digital phase-shifting point diffraction interferometry using a virtual Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor

Abstract

A novel method of wavefront reconstruction incorporating a virtual Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor is proposed and compared with a standard method to estimate phase from noisy interferograms obtained from a digital phase-shifting point diffraction interferometer.
