Abstract

Two cross-conjugated isomers (I1 and I2) based on 4,8-dithienylbenzo- [1,2-b:4,5-b’]dithiophene (DTBDT) have been designed and synthesized for DSSCs. Typically, I2 based DSSC with liquid electrolyte displays the higher power conversion efficiency (η) of 7.0%.
