All-Optical Tunable Delay Line for Channel Selection in OTDM Demultiplexing

Abstract

We demonstrate 40-Gb/s OTDM demultiplexing using an all-optical tunable delay line and an electro-absorption modulator. The continuous fiber-optic delay for channel selection is realized using four-wave-mixing and wavelength-dependent group delay.
