A Novel Resource-Based Cycle Protection Approach in WDM Optical Network

Abstract

In order to settle the restriction of the wavelength continuities in WDM optical network, a novel resource pre-configuring strategy utilizing straddle link is proposed, it can be suitable for either dynamical or static traffic environment.
