Automatic Extraction of Chirp Parameter of DFB Laser

Abstract

A new method is proposed for extracting chirp parameter of DFB laser by fitting the side-band strengths ratio curve obtained from frequency spectrum measurement. It is validated by comparing with the result obtained from fiber dispersion measurement.
