Sensing of ethane and formaldehyde in air using mid-infrared laser radiation

Abstract

The optical sensor of ethane and formaldehyde using multipass spectroscopy in 3,3 µm range is described. Due to quenching of optical noises by novel method the detection limit of a single ppb was achieved.
