The Fiber Fabry-Pérot Cavity as a Multipurpose Sensor

Abstract

Using a fiber Fabry-Pérot cavity as an optical vibration sensor, many applications can be realized. Here we demonstrate phosphate concentration measurements, simultaneous detection of 1 Hz - 6 MHz frequencies in tissue phantoms and liquid viscosity and density measurements.
