Abstract
Imaging internal finger features such as the internal fingerprints might be a more reliable way of identifying individuals. Full-field optical coherence tomography (FF-OCT) is well suited for the subsurface imaging because of its ability to record en face images deep in tissue. We have developed a compact FF-OCT system that is able to produce at least 2 × 2 cm images of the internal fingerprints and sweat pores within 1-2 seconds.
