Abstract
Cavity ring-down absorption spectroscopy is a multi-pass absorption spectroscopic technique that greatly amplifies the absorption loss of a sample. By using a loop made from fiber optic waveguides the method can be adapted to absorption measurements on liquid samples with volumes between 1 pL and 1 μL.
