Simulation and Experimental Demonstration of Novel In-service Correlation OTDR using Single-period Signal Extension

Abstract

We propose a novel efficient scheme for in-service correlation OTDR signal processing, which reduces the probe time to one third of the original correlation OTDR and decreasing processing complexity by using single-period signal extension.
