All-Fiberized 2.7–4.2 μm Mid-Infrared Supercontinuum Source Based on Er-doped ZBLAN Fiber Amplifier

Abstract

An all-fiberized supercontinuum (SC) source based on Er-doped ZBLAN fiber amplifier is demonstrated for the first time, and a SC spanning from 2.7 to 4.2 μm is obtained with a record power of 2.32 W.
