Flat Optical Frequency Comb Generation Based on Intensity Modulator with RF Frequency Multiplication Circuit and Dual-parallel Mach-Zehnder Modulator

Abstract

A novel optical frequency comb (OFC) generator with two dual-parallel Mach-Zehnder modulators(DPMZMs) and intensity modulator(IM) is proposed. Results show that 80-line OFC with flatness of 0.32dB and frequency interval of 8GHz can be obtained.
