FrFT based blind chromatic dispersion estimation mitigating large DGD induced uncertainty

Abstract

We developed a robust chromatic dispersion estimation (CDE) algorithm based on the Fractional Fourier Transform and BP neural network against large DGD disturbances. Within 100ps/nm CDE accuracy was achieved with 50-130ps DGD variation.
